Refunds and cancellation
Last updated October 27, 2026
The free trial
- Your first subscription starts with 7 free days of the plan you pick. A card is required to start, and nothing is charged during the trial. Up to 1,000 DMs can go out during it.
- At the end of the trial your plan renews automatically at its monthly price (for example $29/month for Creator) unless you cancel before then. The date and amount are shown before you pay and in Settings → Plan and billing.
- We email you before the trial ends.
- Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged.
How to cancel
- Open Settings → Plan and billing.
- Choose Cancel plan and confirm.
That’s it: no call or email needed. You keep access until the end of the trial or the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. You can also email [email protected] and we will cancel for you.
Refunds
- First charge after the trial: if you forgot to cancel, ask within 7 days of that charge and we will refund it in full, once per customer.
- Later charges: we don’t refund partial periods, but cancelling stops all future charges.
- Our mistakes: if we charged you in error, or Postbutter was unavailable for a significant part of a period because of us, we will refund or credit you.
- Overage: extra DMs are billed only when you have turned overage on and only for DMs actually sent.
Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually arrive in 5–10 business days.
If you live in the EU or UK
You have a 14-day right to withdraw from online contracts. Because Postbutter starts working as soon as you start your trial, you ask us to begin straight away and accept that, once the service has been fully provided, the right no longer applies; if you withdraw earlier we refund the charge minus the part already used. To withdraw, email [email protected] with your account email.
